Mason's Shakespeare Hand Pump

669.50

The Mason's Shakespeare is designed for a CO2, electric pump, gas driven pump or mixed gas pressurised dispense systems. It is clamped to an appropriate surface by means of two hand operated clamp screws and can cater for bars up to 3 inches thick (75mm).

This unit, although operating on pressurised systems, exactly 'simulates' the operation of a traditional Cask dispense unit (Beer Engine). When on the handle is pulled the flow starts. The resistence on the handle results in the feel of a clamp on in its stroke - the flow stops. Although set at the manufacturers to pour one pint in 3 to pulls of the handle at 25-30psi beer pressure, there is an internal flow control valve to increase or decrease this rate for varying pressures.

Having a highly polished top approximately 7"(177mm) x 10" (253mm) and a height of 18" appears and simulates the exact action of a traditional clamp on beer pull. A choice of handle tap is available.

Mulitple units can be mounted on a common plinth.

The Shakespeare is also available as a 'UK Government Stamped' measured dispense unit, which dispenses exactly 1/2 pint each pull of the handle. For this model an external transformer (not included) giving 24 V.A.C. connected to mains electricity, is required.
